"Companies need to build digital muscle and collaborating with startups can help."
Britta von Selchow, Head of OSDi Digital Solutions by Fette Compacting
Some of the insights:
Cooperation ≠ Collaboration
Depending on the strategy companies pursue, there are various possibilities for cooperation between them and startups. These include, for example, investments, collaboration on individual projects, or startups working on corporate topics at hackathons.
Meetings at eye level
Corporates in particular tend to define strict guidelines in a collaboration. This often does not correspond to the approach of startups and can limit their development or even lead to conflicts. It is important to take the different needs into account and to meet at eye level.
The path is the goal
The goal with which you started the cooperation can change or adapt in the course of the collaboration. Once the initial fears of contact have been overcome, further projects or activities may be identified in which both parties will benefit from further cooperation.
