Krone Group launches activities in Maschinenraum

Krone Group, a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles and agricultural technology, is strengthening its exchange with like-minded innovators and joining Maschinenraum, a shared innovation ecosystem with its more than 20 member companies – a platform specifically for large family businesses from Mittelstand that are driving digital transformation. Krone will use the network to exchange ideas on digital innovation management, recruiting and new partnerships. Another goal is the pragmatic access to shared resources, methods, knowledge exchange and infrastructures in order to consistently and effectively pursue its own digital transformation.

In view of the growing global demand for modern agricultural technology and networked logistics solutions, Krone is serving two mega trends with suitable products and accompanying services. For years, the group has been investing disproportionately in digitalization, automation and networking at all its production sites. In order to continue to set industry standards with future projects, Krone is now also approaching this targeted exchange of experience with medium-sized companies from outside the industry that are facing similar challenges due to their orientation or company size.
