Greiner AG strengthens the Maschinenraum ecosystem

Kremsmünster, Austria / Berlin, 08.10.2024 Greiner AG, a global manufacturer and processor of plastics and foam solutions, is joining Maschinenraum, the transformation ecosystem for SMEs. As a 100% family-owned company in the fifth generation, Greiner wants to use the exchange and cooperation with other member companies to develop sustainable solutions for a circular economy and to face the big questions of the present.

Greiner AG was founded in 1868 by Carl Albert Greiner and his wife Emilie and has since developed from a small general store into an international company with 118 locations in 33 countries. With an annual turnover of 2.119 billion euros and around 10,500 employees, Greiner is active in various business areas with three divisional companies: Greiner Packaging (plastic packaging), NEVEON (polyurethane foams) and Greiner Bio-One (medical technology). Greiner is currently facing the challenge of shaping the transition to a circular economy with a focus on recycling and sustainable plastics solutions. Greiner is intensively committed to the further development of circular economy models and relies on continuous innovation and the courage to change.
