Mannheim Business School cooperates with transformation-network Maschinenraum
Mannheim/Berlin - Mannheim Business School (MBS), one of the leading institutions for management education in Germany and Europe, will become a cooperation partner of the transformation-ecosystem Maschinenraum. The business school, which is closely linked to the University of Mannheim, and the alliance of around 70 family-owned companies as well as university partners, venture capitalists and other innovators plan to cooperate closely in the areas of teaching, research and practical transfer.
MBS was founded in 2005 and offers companies of all sizes and industries a broad range of services in the field of management education as well as in the recruitment of international specialists and executives. Currently, more than 700 students are enrolled in the MBA and Master's programs at MBS and about 800 participants per year complete the corporate continuing education programs developed together with companies. The students come from all over the world, and more than 80 percent of the international graduates of the MBS programs continue their careers in Germany after graduation - not infrequently with medium-sized or family-owned companies.
With its students, alumni, faculty members and corporate partners, MBS thus has not only one of the largest, but also one of the most active business networks in the German-speaking world, which is divided into numerous regional and specialized groups.
Keeping an eye on tomorrow's skilled workers
Professor Dr. Jens Wüstemann, President of Mannheim Business School, is convinced that his institution's cooperation with Maschinenraum will strengthen its access to the German business community: "Maschinenraum provides us with a valuable interface to many major family businesses. On the one hand, it allows us to expand the activities in our programs and our network to include exciting practical projects, company visits or recruiting events. On the other hand, of course, our program and research offerings should also be of great interest to a network of extraordinarily successful and sustainable German family businesses."
"Mannheim Business School is a springboard for professionals from all over the world into German medium-sized and family businesses," describes Tobias Rappers, Managing Director of Maschinenraum. "We are very pleased that we are officially working together from now on. This gives us the chance to demonstrate to the students what opportunities are available to them with the family businesses in our network. At the same time, we can ensure that students have access to practical experience."
