Maschinenraum welcomes Murtfeldt as a new member

Murtfeldt, internationally renowned expert for plastics manufacturing and processing, becomes a member of Maschinenraum. The alliance of more than 50 medium-sized companies as well as university partners and other innovators offers its network partners a platform to jointly exchange ideas on the future challenges of medium-sized companies and, above all, to work on digital transformation as well as sustainability. Murtfeldt wants to use the exchange with other members of Maschinenraum to learn from each other, form alliances and face the challenges with joint expertise.

Murtfeldt was founded in 1954 in Dortmund in North Rhine-Westphalia as a plastics manufacturer and chipper and today forms a group of companies with five companies in Germany and abroad and around 650 employees. The Murtfeldt Group's expertise lies in its knowledge of the wide range of engineering plastics and their professional processing. Its companies rely on a wide variety of forward-looking manufacturing processes, in the application of which they are proven experts. The production and machining of engineering plastics and high-performance plastics builds on their application technology consulting, as do additive manufacturing and lightweight fiber composite construction.

The group's ambition is to develop continuously and with an open mind for innovations and to expand these in line with its corporate philosophy. The aim is to be able to offer solutions from all engineering plastics that are important in mechanical engineering and the production and processing methods required for this.
