Murrplastik Systemtechnik GmbH becomes part of the transformation ecosystem Maschinenraum

Oppenweiler / Berlin, 13.07.2023 - Murrplastik Systemtechnik GmbH ("murrplastik"), a leading specialist in smart cable management, will become a member of th Maschinenraum transformation ecosystem. murrplastik's claim to simplify its customers' lives while increasing the performance and value of their manufacturing equipment requires continuous innovation and development. As part of this aspiration, the company is now joining Maschinenraum.

Maschinenraum, an alliance of more than 70 family-owned companies as well as university partners, venture capitalists and other innovators, is working together to transform Germany's small and medium-sized businesses. As part of this community, murrplastik plans to talk with other members about the challenges and opportunities of issues such as globalization, internationalization, digitalization and brand strategies. 

Innovation is part of the DNA of the company, which was founded in 1963. Back then, they sold mini clothespins from the wire bending machine; today, murrplastik offers everything related to customizable cable protection, cable routing and cable labeling solutions. Even though the range has evolved steadily since 1963, the products share a common core idea: to make customers' lives easier. 

In 2023, these include customers from mechanical and plant engineering, switchgear and cabinet construction, automotive, rail and rail transport, food, packaging, energy and other industries. The company, with around 420 employees, is active worldwide and has its own branches in Italy, France, Spain, the USA, India and China.
