ROWE becomes part of the Maschinenraum ecosystem

ROWE, internationally renowned lubricant manufacturer from Rhineland-Palatinate, becomes part of Maschinenraum. The family-owned company operates one of the most modern lubricant plants in Europe in Worms. ROWE is also known for its own motorsport team, ROWE RACING.

The alliance of more than 60 family-owned companies, as well as university partners and other innovators, is working together on the digital transformation of Germany's SME sector. As part of this community, ROWE wants to use the exchange with other members of the engine room to share ideas on how to deal with current and future challenges – special attention will be paid to the topics of innovation, sustainability and corporate culture, among others.

The family-owned company ROWE – expert for innovative, high-quality lubricants "Made in Germany" – was founded in 1995 by Dipl.-Ing. Michael Zehe. What started as an enterprise in the workshop of his parents' company, Michael Zehe built up in a few years to a global player and pioneer in the lubricants industry with about 300 employees. Today, he runs the company together with his daughter Dr. Alexandra Kohlmann.

Further product ranges include lubricants for two-wheelers, utility vehicles, boats and cogeneration units. Over and beyond these, the product portfolio also includes the multi-purpose and high-performance greases manufactured in our own grease plant since 2015.
